Colors - a magazine about the rest of the world.

Created by photographer Oliviero Toscani and art director Tibor Kalman in 1991, the magazine confronts social issues by following them around the world and observing them with the same naiveté, cutting-through cultural perceptions.

The magazine is known for it’s photography, courage and humour. More than a magazine, Color is an editorial line known for presenting diversity.

Fabrica Interactive created Colors online, allowing people to see the archive of magazines, read stories (for free), upload their own, and browse the complete history of Colors projects.

The process was a large archiving task – photographing and collecting data on 82 magazines, hundreds of projects, and giving credit to the hundreds of people who have contributed to this extraordinary project.

I was involved in every aspect of the project from the proposal – strategy, IA, UX, to overseeing the design and development. My official role was, alongside Oriol Ferrer Mesià as creative director and producer.
